I am a fairly fit guy, I function out possibly ten-12 times a week and was searching to add rowing to my cardio routine for all the benefits that it provides. I'm also pretty frugal so I saw this rower priced fairly low and afer reading some halfway decent reviews on an additional website, decided to order from Amazon. Shipping was zero cost and arrived in two days via Amazon Prime. Opened up the box and pull all the pieces out only to discover a variety of shards of plastic in the bottom of the box. Turns out component of the casing of the rowing mechanism, which is made of pretty thin, inexpensive plastic, had been cracked and broken off, which I assume occurred for the duration of shipping. Even though this damaged the aesthetics of the machine, I realized it would nonetheless function as it should and so I decided to place it together anyway. This portion is really easy, which is why it gets two stars. When I got it together I decided to give it a attempt and was majorly disappointed. It has adjustable resistance settings from 1 to 10 and even when I set it at 10, there was not enough resistance to make for a troublesome workout for me. The components all move rather smoothly and seem to perform nicely, so possibly this would be really good for somebody just starting to operate on their fitness, but for any one else, in all probability not going to be enough. I could've lived with the broken plastic just to keep away from the hassle of sending it back, but given that it doesn't function as it must, I am returning it.
